We listen to you all the time out here in Congress, AZ (NW of Wickenberg, AZ) AM 550, but never heard anyone ask you about the problem I have.

We have a computer with Windows 98 installed and a program called Adobe Photo Deluxe that I created a lot of technical drawings (pixel by pixel). All the drawings were saved as PDD files.

Well you guessed it,,,the computer crashed,,while trying to bring it back many programs were lost including the Adobe Photo Deluxe. we don't have the original installation CD.

I tried to open these pdd files with PhotoShop Elements, Photo Impact Pro, and a few others with no success. My only solution it seems now is to find an old version of the original Adobe Photo Deluxe. I tried to find this on line and at your web site,,,,,no success either....any suggestions???

Thanks for your time...

Well it looks like adobe will not support it any more. http://www.adobe.com/products/photodeluxe/

Best bet would be to search Ebay or a site that sells software.

Maybe you could stop in a couple computer shops and see if they have a copy, it might be worth a try.

The only other option would be try changing the file extension to a .jpeg or an extension that Photoshop uses.

To do this right click on one of the files and hit rename.

Change it from Example.pdd to Example.jpeg.

If that works you can use paint or photoshop.

Good luck!
