Numlock is on after bootup. Can I turn it off so it won't be on after booting up?

There are many instances where the numlock will stay on after bootup, unfortunately without knowing what system you have we can't really help you We use the user profile when you submit your question to help us in troubleshooting For instance in your case the items we would be looking for on your profile would be, are you on a network, are you running a terminal emulation program, etc.

In most cases you can go into the BIOS or CMOS settings and look for an option for Num Lock Depending upon your computer, you may have to press Del or Esc or whatever your screen says during startup or boot.
