How Can I Show the Full Menus in Microsoft Word?

This question was answered on August 22, 2007. Much of the information contained herein may have changed since posting.

One of the most annoying things that happens in Word 2003 (and other applications for that matter) is that the full menu options are not shown until a short delay You can turn this feature off and show all the items in a menu dropdown by following a few simply steps In Word, click on View | Toolbars | Customize Select the 'Options' tab and uncheck 'Show full menus after a short delay' and place a check in 'Always show full menus' Click on Close and your headwhack is no more!
