Error message "Cannot find ASPIIF.exe Run ASpiif.exe before running windows". How do I do this?
This question was answered on July 27, 1999. Much of the information contained herein may have changed since posting.
On the basis of the problem stated it sound like the error message is relating to the SCSI host adapter The host adapter supports ASPI driver standard that describes the way the host adapter communicates with the SCSI device driver that interfaces with the SCSI device ASPI standard has nothing SCSI-1, SCSI-2, or SCSI-3 types, but with the way the drivers are written Be sure that the host adapter and all device drivers meet the same standard This affects the way the host adapter relates to the operating system
Windows 95 and Windows NT have built in support for this driver
My question is have you always had this problem?
If so the driver might not be found by the host adapter to load, so that it can talk with the operating system They might not be compatible, or meet the same standard
Or did it just start one day?
some how you might have lost the driver or it became corrupted.
