How do I customize the file display format in Corel Word Perfect?

When I go to Corel Word Perfect 7/File/Open, the files are in reverse alphabetical order. How do I get them in alphabetical order?

To change the default format (how the files are listed) of the File Manager file list, use the following steps:

1 Enter WPWin, and select File Manager from the File menu (the default display of File Manager shows the Navigator and Viewer)

2 Click on View|Layouts|Navigator|File List|Viewer (a Files List window should now appear each time File Manager is entered)

3 Click on View|Options

4 Set the Sort selections as desired (date, time, descriptive name, appendix, alphabetic, etc.)

5 Click on File|Preferences|Environment, and verify that the "Save Current Layout on Exit" is marked with an X Do not close the File List window in File Manager If it is closed, the settings will not be retained when File Manager is exited.
