I don't have the color red on my monitor. No shades of red or any of the colors that come from the mixture of red. Could this be my monitor or video card? In the device manager, it says everything is working properly. I've tried to adjust the settings for display and checked all the connections possible.

Often when a primary color is missing from a monitor it is a break in the three color signal connection from the monitor to the video card, a very common problem in older monitors We see from your profile that your system is an older model First check the connection cable from the monitor to the system, is it frayed, kinked or twisted? Turn the power off to your system and then check the connection, unplugging it and replugging in both connections If this doesn't help, try replacing if you are able the cable itself If this still doesn't help, these repairs are often not that expensive to repair for a computer repair shop, call and check first before making your decision.
