How can I set up so that my browser (Netscape) will automatically dial out when I press the desktop icon without having to dial my ISP first. I am using Netscape 4.61.

We are assuming that you have a Netscape shortcut on your desktop that you double click and receive a dial-ip window From this window you enter your user name and password for your ISP, then you are able to access the internet through your Netscape browser You must always dial out through an ISP provider in order to access the internet, unless you have a cable modem connection or other dedicated connection Netscape is a browser only for the internet, meaning that Netscape is only a map of the internet, but your ISP is the bus to get you there.
