Q: I have an Emachine 400i. AOL says Emach and Best Buy conspired to move a bunch of outdated modem drivers in order to shlep the responsibility to AOL. Best Buy says Emachine

Tech support will have to talk me thru downloading a modem driver.(support does not exist) Can you walk me thru the web site and how to download the so-called driver?

I'll send you some movie passes. Thanks Rob Horgan-AMC Theatre Perhaps enough passes to use on the COMPUTER CORNER as well.

Unfortunantly, without the exact brand and model of the modem that you are using, we will have no way to give you any real help You might be able to get this information by going to your device manager Right-click on the My Computer icon then on Properties Click on the Device Manager tab at the top then double click on the Modem entry in the device manager list Once you have determined the brand and model of the modem, you should visit the web site for the modem manufacturer not e-Machines web site

Hope this helps!
