I live in the Phoenix area where there is an area code split effective Sept. 1. I tried your instructions on how to tell Windows dialer not to use the "1" for local access numbers with the 480 and 623, using the "Area Code Rules". I got all the way to the very end where you enter the area codes in the box to tell Windows not to dial the "1" for numbers with the following area codes. It will not let me enter anything!! What am I doing wrong--I need to know soon as Sept. 1 is right around the corner and I'm getting worried!!

You are probably not pressing the "New" button (just to the right of the white area where the numbers will show up) that allows you to add new area codes!
