Logitech mouse

I bought a logitech mouse with the wheel..If I try and install the wheel feature, my computer freezes...I go to safe mode and select the special feature selection and the mouse works fine, but the wheel nor the right button works...? I tried to call Logitech but this installation problem doesn't seem to be covered by their recording...
