How do I get rid of the pop-up advertisements in AOL?

How do I get rid of the pop-up advertisements in my AOL whenever I sign on?

You can turn off the pop-up ads by doing the following:

Sign on to AOL, click on My AOL, then on Preferences Click on Marketing preferences and uncheck the Pop-Ups option.
