Thanks for your very informative answer to my question on CD-R & CD/RW. I would appreciate your comments as to another concern I have. I hope to make a couple of trips that will last at least a month per trip. I would like to take with me my Quicken program and certen other files and be able to use them on a computer at these locations. What system would your recommend that I could use to transport this data and save and reload it into my computer here at home?

AJHUNTER, you will need to take your Quicken installation disk along with you and install it on the computer you intend to use unless it is already installed As far as transporting files to and from different locations, an external zip drive would be the good solution if it falls within your budget, if not, floppy disk will do the job Remember when you save your data save it to the zip drive or floppy drive which ever is the one you are using.
