I recently purchased a Diamond Stealth III S540. I had a store install it. Now whenever I set the monitor colors and/or the monitor display size (aka. from 640x??? to 800x600) the computer freezes. My monitor is listed as unknown. I was wondering if I should set my monitor to a "standard monitor" at VGA setting or SVGA setting. Or whatever else I have to do. It won't let me run any programs in 16 colors! Please HELP.

The Diamond Stealth II 220-

Windows 98 stops responding with a Diamond Stealth II 220.

The problem occurs most frequently when you start the Add New Hardware wizard while the drivers for the Diamond Stealth II S220 included with Windows 98 are installed This causes the computer to freeze.

To resolve this issue, obtain and install the most recent driver for this display adapter.

Diamond Stealth III S540 may have the same problem-

Try installing the standard VGA driver If you still have problems with the computer freezing, contact the store that installed it for you and/or Diamond Multimedia.
