How do I access the BIOS on my Compaq Presario 1525?

I am trying to get into BIOS. I have a Compaq Presario 1525

everyone keeps telling me to hit F10 when booting up. That doesnt work it only gives me computer set up. I need to get into BIOS to set up serial ports for my digital camera.

The setup program that the F10 key gets you into is actually where you want to be It is, for all intents and purposes, the BIOS for your system If you are looking for the section for the serial ports, you may want to look for a heading that is labeled "Ports" or Integrated Peripherals
