Several months ago the loading of my Windows 95 started to

require considerably more time to complete loading. It used to load in a matter of seconds, now it takes one or two minutes.

Believe I have to clean-out one of the files in history of the Netscape 4.7 program that I am using - but can't recall exactly which file to delete.

Thank you for your consideration.

One factor that maybe causing your system to load slowly is your “start up” folder A lot of times when you install a new program that interacts with your desktop it is loaded on start up, if you have a lot of programs that load at Start up it will cause your start up to be very slow.

Try removing anything that is not vital to the operation of the system from the Startup Group To access the items in your Startup Group, right-click on the Start button the click on Open Next, double click on the Programs icon then on Startup This should open a window with all of the programs that are launched at startup.
