How do I install software if it is not initally detected?

I am trying to install my TurboTax from the CD-Rom and have had difficulties. I followed directions to no avail. I then followed the instructions to copy the files from the CD-Rom to the hard drive. I then went to Run the setup file. I get a message that says "Cannot find _SETUP.DLL file"

Ok, I now know why it won't work but how do I get another Setup.DLL file installed. My Windows 98 program was preloaded into my computer. (I have ordered the Windows 98 - Second Edition but it may take 4 - 6 weeks to arrive.) My taxes are due NOW!! HELP!!!!

It sounds like your system is unable to properly read this CD Try running another program to make sure that you are not having a hardware issue Also take you tax program to a completely different computer so you can narrow down your possibilities.
