Apparently, WIN98 can not or will not read installation CDs for games and other programs originally made for WIN95.

Is there any way that I can make WIN98 read the installation CD for my Minolta Digital camera and/or PGA98 golf game or other things that won't install on my new Proteva built computer?

Seems like you gurus might have a way to do that. I hope so. Can't afford to buy everything again.

Thanks for whatever answers you might have.

You should not be having problems simply reading the CD's that you mentioned It sounds like you may have a configuration problem with your hardware Check your device manager for any Yellow Dots next to your hard drive controller section or CDROM The access the device manager, right-click on My Computer then select Properties Click on the Device manager tab at the top and check the above items I would contact the manufacturer of the system if you can not run any programs.
