when i push the button to open cdrom it don`t open ,i have to push it 4 to 5 times then it opens ,is it wasted?

The answer to your question depends on what you are doing at the
time your trying to open the tray The eject button on the drive is
not like the eject buttons you would find on your car cassette deck for instance When you press the eject button, a command is sent to your computer, then back to the CD-Rom drive If your processor is busy, or a certain application still want's the information on your CD there may be quite a delay in the computer letting you have your disk back Try this simple solution:
Double click the my computer icon, when the window opens, find the icon for your CD Rom drive Right click that icon, and select eject from the menu list The drive should pop open If your still having trouble, it could be the drive itself Let a computer hardware tech take a look at it, or buy a replacement CD-Rom drives have really come down in price over the last 18 months.
