Everytime I open up windows, it asks me for my password. How do I get rid of that so it won't show up next time?

If you have any type of networking installed on the system, including Dial-up networking the system asks for a password on bootup Right click on network neighborhood and select prperties Look for a dropdown box that says Primary Network Logon and change this to Windows Logon This suppresses the password prompt from showing up But, if you have any mapped resources based on login name you'll need to type the password in each time or look into a program called tweakui, available from microsoft, which allows automatic network logons.
