How do I re-install the "e" drive that my cd burner was installed on? My "cdrom" is missing from my Device Manager.

Also the "E" drive is missing from the My Computer.

Windows 98 will not detect this device to re-install it.

If your system isn't recognizing the drive make sure it is being reported as "there" when your system first boots up Usually there will be a text windows right before the Windows splash screen loads that lists devices in your system You can also check the device manager to see if there are any config problems with the IDE controll that the cd-rom is attached to.
