How do you close all open programs when installing new soft ware?

Hello and thank you for sending your question.

Closing programs are very easy to do Hit Control-Alt-Delete together and this brings up a window listing all of the processes that are currently running The only two that are needed for Windows to run are Explorer and Systray Highlight all of the other programs individually and click the End Task button at the bottom of the window Keep ending task on all of the programs until only Explorer and Systray are running.

Good luck,
