Statup menu issues

Every time I start or restart my computer I get the screen that asks me how I want to start windows (normal, safe mode, etc) My system seems to work fine when I select normal. The computer also seems to shut down properly, i.e. it tells me it is safe to shut off the computer.

You need to go to start, run and type msconfig On the general tab click advanced and take the check mark out of enable strtup menu.
