I changed my password and the computer will not let me in

My computer will not let me in after I changed my password It comes up with[ invalid password-system halted].I am the only one with access to this computer,also I inherited from my late sister.Could this be an old program.Please help as I have little computer knowledge. Thank you

Hello and thank you for sending your question.

Passwords can be case sensitive Make sure that you type your password exactly the same however you typed it when you changed it(all capital letters, all lowercase, combo, etc..) I hope this resolves your problem If not please, resubmit Good luck!
