CAN I INSTALL A FASTER PROCESSOR WITHOUT CHANGING THE

The answer to your question about upgrading your processor without upgrading your motherboard is no Your processor is a 233Mhz MMx, I believe, and to be on the safe side, I would upgrade the motherboard Why? Your motherboard is rated for a certain CPU (processor) rating I mean that the manufacturer has tested the motherboard to handle a certain range of processors, for instance, 300 Mhz to 400 Mhz If you go any higher then you have the risk of damaging the motherboard Any lower, then your system might not even work If I were you, I would go to www.tigerdirect.com or www.tccomputers.com to match a cpu motherboard bundle Good luck.
