Will the performance change if I change my 128mg ram to 356mb of ram?
Question
I have read the questions on memory upgrades, but... i'm not sure how this applies to me. I am running Windows ME and I have 128mg ram. I am working a lot with digital pictures (on my laptop), and saving and zooming is very slow. I have (2) 64mg dimm chips and I believe that to upgrade I will have to deep six them and get two 128mg chips. Before I do that I want to make sure I'm not wasting money if the performance dosen't change much. No one at Dell seems to be able to give me a straight answer. I have read that Laptops, as well as Windows Me puts a big strain on memory.
Also, please note that I am not sure which video card I have.
Thanx so much for taking the time to read this!!!
