How do I wipe my hard drive and reinstall Windows 98 from scratch?

How do I revert my hard drive completely and reinstall windows 98 from scratch so I have most of my hard drive space back.

A:If you want to reinstall Win98 from scratch, I suggest you reformat your hard drive Reformatting your hard drive will erase all of the information you have in your system.

From a boot disk with the system files and the format command, type:

FORMAT c: /s/u

The /s puts system files on the drive so you can boot to it and the /u is for an unconditional format.

You can then reinstall Windows 98 and have a fresh start I hope this helps you with your question, if not, please, do resubmit
