I recently purchased a Gravis Eliminator Aftershock game controller. I want to use it to play old games like the Immortal in DOS. It is a USB device and the game will not recognize it. How do I get this game controller to work in DOS games. I use it on MAME32 (an arcade emulator which runs in DOS), but it won't run in the Immortal or any other games.

Hello, sorry about the delay in your answer I contacted Gravis regarding your question Remember when purchasing any new software or hardware that you check the compatibility list This is the email I received from them If you have any further questions, please submit your questions to

Dear Sir/Madame

The new Xperience 4.x software is in a Windows only format and no longer

recognizes DOS executables for Keysets as the Xperience 2.1 did The

only way to get a keyset to work with a DOS game within Windows is to

create a set using the Xperience Control Panel under the 'All Other

Games' heading This will unfortunately cause this set to be loaded at

all times AND this set will need to be modified each time you want to

play a different DOS based game.

Thank you for you continued interest in Gravis products.
