I am looking for a quality, reliable ISP, preferably local (within AZ). I have used the "free ISP" jobbies that constantly slam me with ads and annoying navigation bars and they are not very reliable. It's like having a permanent pop up window and I really don't like getting disconnected while downloading a file. My question is, where can I find ISP's sites on the web that don't reqire huge amounts of money to sign up or long term contracts? I am also looking to find ratings of the ISP. These "free ISP" jobbies rerally do bite. Please do not suggest AOL, I am really not a fan. Thnak you for any help you can provide.

I feel for you Looking for an ISP is a frustrating process I would suggest doing some research on them, prior to deciding They all seem to have pros and cons If you are trying to stay with a small ISP, I found a couple of websites for you to search I hope this will help I presently went with DSL with QWest and am fairly satisfied The sites I provided for you list Dial-up connections, DSL, and ISDN's http://www.azsites.com/internet_access.htm http://www.intracities.com/dl/Mesa/index.htm

The following internet site gives you a list of DSL providers: http://www.everythingdsl.com/providers.html

The following website is another list of ISP's It provides services for Phoenix, AZ http://isp-lists.isp-planet.com/

Good Luck to you in your search!

Always remember to read the fine print before signing up for any provider.
