Hello.

It is not clear from your question whether the ad pops up when you are reading an email or composing a new one, or whether the ad pops up in the same or a new window.

Those annoying ads that pop up all the time when you are browsing or emailing come from either programs you have downloaded off the net or internet-based services you are using that are "free" Just like broadcast TV, the "free" programming is supported by advertising Examples over the web would be Hotmail (email service), MSN home page, and GoZilla (a popular download utility) You will notice almost every website is supported by some sort of advertising

This advertising cannot be avoided unless you are willing to stop using "free" stuff and start paying for your email service and software downloads Otherwise, do what I do and try to ignore it.
