Why will keyboard not allow me to type on Internet pages?

ive had a cordless keyboard and mouse for about 7 months, just recently the keyboard will not allow me to type on any page that i access on the internet both aol and ie5, i can type in the url but that is it. keyboard works on all other programs, i tried changing keyboards with a wired one and still get the same thing, any suggestions?

It sounds like you have elimanated your keyboard as being the culprit, as the wired one produced the same results At this point I recommend you check all of your Internet settings Also try to remember if something happened, some event took place etc, during the time period that this started.
