This system was new in 1998 but some features were never used. I now have a need for the "Character Map" feature. When "Character Map" is chosen from the Accessories list on the desktop a window is displayed that should contain the Character Map but the window is not titled nor does the matrix of characters appear. The "Font" feature appears but the rest of the window is blank. Efforts to "fix" by accessing the Settings feature on the desktop have not helped. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks!

Hi: Hmmmm ... interesting Like you, I haven't used my character map since I bought my system (Windows 98), but it's right there, at Start - Programs - Accessories - System Tools Strange that the map window is there on your Win 95, with the font feature, but no characters The only help I could find was an opportunity to download the file from microsoft Go to microsoft.com/support, and in the knowledge base, you'll find article # 135315, "CD-ROM Extras for Microsoft Windows 95 Upgrade." On page three of the article you'll find a download button for the character map
