My Norton antivirus 2000 has been working fine until the other day . Now it is disabled every time I turn on the computer and there is no sign on the task bar? How do change it back.

A:Hello and thank you for your question.
If your Norton Antivirus 2000 has not been damaged or corrupted, you should be able to put it back on your Taskbar & Start Menu Simply click on START, SETTINGS, and TASKBAR & START MENU...The Taskbar Properties will then open There are two options (Taskbar Options & Start Menu Programs) Click on Start Menu Programs then ADD button In the Command line, type or click BROWSE for the program you want and then Restart your computer.
If for some reason, your Norton Antivirus 2000 has been damaged or corrupted because of some files or programs that you have downloaded from the Internet or other software recently installed, I suggest that you remove that certain file/program to see if it fixes itself If not, you might have to reinstall the application I hope this resolves your problem, if not, please, resubmit your question including troubleshooting steps that you have undertaken Good luck!
Thanks,
LREVERT
