Which Norton Utility do you recommend storing on my hard drive and how do I uninstall the others?

Can you recommend a firewall that would be compatible with a Cox Cable Modem?

A:Hello and thank you for your question.

If you want the latest Norton Utility from Symantec, you can get the Norton Utilities 2001 for Windows 95/98/Me/NT WS/2000 Pro WS If you want more information, you can log on to the following website:

You can uninstall the other programs by using the ADD/REMOVE PROGRAMS in the Control Panel.

Click on Start, Settings, Control Panel Double-click the Add/Remove Programs icon The Add/Remove Programs Properties opens You can then click on the program/s from the list that you want to remove or uninstall.

(This information is taken from our DATABASE)

For your second question, the only free personal firewall that we have been recommending is ZoneAlarm, which passed the leak test, but I am not sure if this is compatible with a Cox Cable Modem You might have to call Cox and verify with them if this is okey Cox Cable has Proxy installed for their firewall.

If you need more information on ZoneAlarm, you can go to

I hope this helps you with your question, if you need more assistance, please, let us know.

Good luck,

LREVERT
