hi

both my defragmentation and system agent will not run, error message "this is not a win32 application" appears .this happened after i had run my in file repair box application ;which said it has found errors in both files.

Before all of this my system was running slowly (since i installed AOL 6.0 ) and my defrag would freeze the system after 10% . To add to all this my windows master disk will not run as the programme will not recognise the cd drive.

help... all suggestions received with thanks.

thankyou in advance

perry.

Thank you for your question Do you have a boot disk? If so try that It may be that some drivers for your cd drive got deleted

As for your defrag not running properly, have you tried running disk clean-up and scan disk before running defrag?

One reason I can think of as to why your system started running slowly after you installed AOL 6.0 is you may not have enough space left on your hard drive AOL 6.0 takes 130MB hard drive space and if you use internet explorer 5.5 it takes 230MB of hard drive space When your hard drive gets close to being full your system can become slow.

The last thing you could try is wiping out your hard drive re-formating it and loading windows 95.

Hope this helps
