I am a member of a support group that is based in USA, I am in the UK.

I don't have problems communicating with the group via our LIST or by individual addresses. The list address is http://www.egroups.com/group/COPD-ALERT as a matter of fact I don't have problems accessing sites in general.

About two weeks ago a lady on the group came up with the following site http://copd_tlc.tripod.com/Gil.html which was intended to accept get well messages for people who were ill or in hospital and people based in USA have no problem accessing it. Unfortunately when I try to access it I get "Bad Gateway" "DNS Lookup Error"

Could you help please

Thank you for your question I found two things on Microsofts knowledge base that may help you.

First, "Failed DNS Lookup" is defined as: The web sites URL could not be translated into valid internet protocol (IP) address This error is common on commercial sites because the computers that are responsible for translating the IP addresses are overloaded Try again later when there may be less internet traffic This can also be caused by a URL Syntax Error (the URL has incorrect format) So make sure the URL is typed exactly right, check again with the person that gave it to you to make sure it's right.

Second, go to microsoft.com and click on "support" from there click on "searchable knowledge base" then choose "specific article I.D number" type in this: Q153967 under my question is Hit enter It will take you to an article that will give you a number of things that could be wrong with the way your computer is set up as far as the internet, your ISP could have some setup issues, and many other things Have you tried contacting your ISP and explaining the problem? Maybe they can help you make sure your computer is set up properly for the internet Hope this helps and good luck!
