I can no longer change my display settings. (I used to be able to) I have been at 1024 x 768 for a while now. When I try to change back to 800 x 600(or any other size), it tells me to "check your display hardware in the device manager". I did this, everything seems to be ok. Any suggestions?

Hello and thank you for your question.

A corrupted video driver or corrupted monitor driver can cause this type of problem I suggest for you to go to your video card manufacturers website and download and install a "NEW" video driver for your card You should then be able to adjust your display settings If this does not correct the problem then you will need to go to your monitor manufacturers website and download and install a "NEW" monitor driver.

Good luck!!
