I lost my Product Key!

I accidently threw away the paper jacket for my win98 CD. Now I cannot update or make changes to win98 because I've lost the codes that came with the CD. Is there any way I can fix this without buying a new program? Thanks, Bill Davis

Unfortunatley, "Microsoft takes no responsibility for lost or stolen id's once receipt has been taken from the retailer." It makes it pretty difficult to do things by the books unless you want to go back and purchase another copy of the software Most people don't There is nothing that I can tell you to help fix the problem, that would be legal So, what i would do is ask with around people you know for a possible solution.
