My Epson 1520 does not recognize the USB port in the chooser. The panel showing port selection is blank. The printer had worked well with my G3. It doesn't connect with my new G4. Technicians have tested and validated the printer, printer's parallel port, the cable and the computer. New ink cartridges have been installed. I've downloaded the latest drivers. A tech service tested my cpu with my cable and printed successfully to another 1520. What to do?

Hello and thank you for your question.

You mentioned that a tech service was able to print successfully to another Epson 1520, but yet you cannot print to "your" Epson 1520 It sounds to me like the problem is your printer I suggest you try connecting your printer to another system If it will not print from another system then contact the store where you purchased the printer or contact the manufacturer for some help.

Good luck!!
