Users of Microsoft Office XP should be aware of a recently discovered bug in the application.
When you start one of the Office XP programs on a computer that is running Microsoft Windows NT or Microsoft Windows 2000, the
program starts and then immediately quits.
The specific programs affected include:
Access 2002
Outlook 2002
PowerPoint 2002
Word 2002
The bug is due to a registry entry that is not allowing the necessary information to be written because of a permissions problem.
