After downloading a program called, Smart Uninstaller, some how it has "deleted" all program entries from the 'add/remove' menu. Thus far, I have not noticed any problems running any programs. Still, I am unaware if I have done any damage to my system.

If I have done damage, what are my options to rectify this situation. In addition, is there any way to restore the program names back to the add/remove menu?

P.S. I have not shut down my system as of yet.

Thank you for your time and efforts.

Adam

Thanks for your question Smart Uninstaller is a program that analyzes every link information of the applications you have previously installed on your system, checks whether or not they point to existing files (even if they are stored on removable media) and then uninstalls those applications you don't need.

In addition, Smart Uninstaller allows you to: - redirect the uninstall command to another existing executable file; - remove broken link information from the registry; - import/export registry keys through a text file and explore the Programs folder (Start/Programs menu).

Since you haven't shut your system down yet, I would re-start your system and boot up in Safe Mode You do this by pressing F8 during boot up sequence This will restore your system After you boot up go into Add/Remove programs and remove Smart Unistaller.

Good luck
