Hi [email protected]

Here is one way to fix you corrupt registry.

Re-boot PC, when you see "Starting Windows 95" hit F8, or for Windows 98 hit the Control key (Ctrl) just before "Starting Windows 98" comes on and hold it to you see a menu Next select "Command Prompt Only" You will be left at C:\ Type the following commands:

ATTRIB SYSTEM.1ST -R -H -S

CD\WINDOWS

ATTRIB SYSTEM.DAT -R -H -S

REN SYSTEM.DAT SYSTEM.666 [This is in case you need to revert back to the original file]

CDCOPY SYSTEM.1ST C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM.DAT

The second way is to purchace Nuts and Bolts Registry Wizard,it is software that can back up and restore the registry and clean the registry of unneeded data Good luck.
