Got a new computer, A SONY VIVO OR SOMETHING LIKE THAT! OPERATING SYSTEM IS WINDOWS XP HOME. MY PROBLEM IS A LOT OF SOFTWARE WILL NOT WORK! HOW CAN I GO FROM WINDOWS XP TO WINDOWS ME? THIS IS A NEW COMPUTER NOT A UPGRADED ONE! I PUT THE WINDOWS ME CD IN, TRYED TO "DOWNGRADE" MY COMPUTER. COULD NOT.

PLEASE HELP!

Hi Brian,

The issues that you are having with your software will not be helped by going backwards with the OS.Your software is not compatible with the computer at all The drivers in the software are not recognized by the BIOS on the motherboard.New computers are built for new technology and the software developers will have to write new programs to work with this new technology Everything has to work as one or it will not work at all.
