I keep getting the "Blue Screen Of Death" error message, which doesn't appear in any specific time, which says the following:

A fatal exception 0E has occurred at 0028:C0006EB2 in VXD VMM(01) + 00005EB2. The current application will be terminate. (etc...)

I also get the same error message but with a different number like “....has occurred at 0028:C00071D5......+ 000061D5….”

Thanks for any help given!

Best Regards,

Sul

Hi, they are called Fatal Exception Error Messages and are codes that are returned by the program in the following situations:

* If access to an illegal instruction has been encountered

* If invalid data or code has been accessed

* If privilege level of an operation is invalid

When any of these situations occur, the processor returns an exception to the operating system, which in turn is handled as a fatal exception error message In many situations, the exception is non-recoverable and you must either shut down or restart the computer.

A Fatal Exception OE is a Page Fault interrupt and typically occurs when the operating system tries to access virtual memory on a demand-paged basis and that "page" is missing or damaged.

To view the articles of the error message you are experiencing go to:

and choose Windows 98 and click on Fatal Exception OE.

Good luck and hope this helps
