My aunt wanted me to see why she couldn't get onto the internet with her computer. So I took it home and tried to load msn internet on it and found out that she didn't even have a 1gb hard drive so I took my hard drive out of my old gateway 2000 p5-120. It was a western digital caviar 21200 hard drive and now when I turn on the computer I get "operating system not found" my biggest problem is that I don't have recovery cd for the hard drive.

Thanks for your question The first thing I would do is to take your hard drive that you put in her computer out and re-install her old one If she wants to get on the Internet be sure that she has a modem in her computer If not, you can purchase one; 56K or a V.90 type modem and install it If she has Plug n Play the system should recognize the new hardware and download the drivers necessary for the modem to work Once the modem is installed by Plug n Play all you have to do is plug her phone line into the modem Go to the address bar and key in www.msn.com and you should be in business Good luck
