I installed Windows XP Home Ed upgrade from Windows 98 and uninstalled it twice because I had to use the printer, twice, and the CD Rom for printer upgrade had not arrived. During the third XP installation, the system gave me this message " the signature for XP Home Ed is invalid. Error code FFFFFDF0 system cannot find message text number 0XFFFFFDF0". Other than Outlook Express 6.0 not working the same as before, everything else appears to work. How do I install XP? Microsoft has not responded to my question yet.

Regards,

John Zalitis

Hi John,

I looked at your profile and see that you have a Pen 2.The recomended minimum requirement is a Pen 3.Also your memory is borderline, they recomend 256.The upgrades are really not the best way to go The full version would work the best and not give you the problems that you will run into.I would also buy the magazine called Windows XP that can be helpful when you get it going It will also tell you of the system requirments to get it to work.Good luck.
