My Hard Drive and CD-ROM drive cannot be recognized. It is not recognized in BIOS. I can boot to a floppy, but cannot see the CD-ROM or Hard Drive. When trying to fdisk, it says that no drive can be found. I have tried switching out the hard drive and the CD-RO drive, w/ other Hard Drives and CD-ROM drives. I have tried disconnecting the CD-ROM drive completely. They are on different controllers. I have tried switching the controllers out also. I have also installed a I/O card w/ a IDE and Floppy port on it. I can still boot to floppy, but get the same thing when tryng to fdisk the drive. Any suggestions? Thanks

Hi Michaellively,
I see that you have tryed other drives Have you tried other cable ribbons to see if that was an issue? You sould also test your powersupply to make sure that it is working The next and last thing that would be bad would be the mother board Start with the easiest first test the power output and the cables.Good luck.
