When I boot my computer I recieve an error message saying that Hard drive not found. When I run FDisk it says the same. It also states that there is an error in line 1 of Config.sys. If you could tell me how to fix this I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you

Hi,

The first thing that comes to mind is that the hard drive is not plugged in or has been changed and the jumpers are not set properly. If this is not the case then you have a corrupt registry.Have you tried to boot from your floppy boot disk? If this does not work then I would suggest that you obtain a Norton Recovery disk or Nuts and Bolts to fix your Registry Thank you
