Hello, your QuickTime file is either missing or damaged
Following is an answer found at Apple's QuickTime support site Definitely run ScanDisk before trying to reinstall QuickTime Follow the instructions to delete QuickTime.qts from the \WINDOWS\SYSTEM directory (Click on Start, Find, Files or Folders Type QuickTime.qts in the "Named" box and type C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM IN THE "Look in:" box.) Delete the file Then download the stand-alone version of the QuickTime installer from: http://www.apple.com/quicktime/download/support/ Write down the name of the installer and the location (directory or folder) where the installer is saved Disconnect from the Internet and restart your computer.
Safe Mode is Windows with minimum configuration settings
Start your computer and hold down the ctrl-key until you see the Startup Menu Select Safe Mode and press Enter Click Start, Run Type in the name of the stand-alone installer Restart your computer before proceeding.
