Do you recommend upgrading to Internet Explorer 6.0? I'm currently running IE 5.5 using Window 98.

Thanks!

It is always wise to be hesitant about downloading new software simply because it is "new" But Internet Explorer 6.0 has been out for awhile now and seems to have most of the bugs worked out

Explorer 6.0 has a few new features and a nice look There are two new features that I especially like One of these is the increased choices you have about restricting cookies

The other feature that I like is automatic resizing If you have a picture that is larger than your browser's window, it will shrink it down so that it will fit If you want to see the full size picture, you can simply click a button that appears in the window or even turn this feature off altogether

I am sure that neither of these features are something that you just can't live without, but it's always fun to have new toys

If you do decide to upgrade, Microsoft will want you to include Windows Media Player 7 If you have an older computer, I would not recommend downloading the Windows Media Player 7 It uses a great deal of your computer's resources and I found one of my older systems locking up now and then I finally went back to good old Media Player 6.4 It is a solid player and doesn't try to take over your system
