My CD-ROM is not accessible?

When I try to play a game my D Drive says

D:/ is not accessible

The device is not ready

What is wrong with the D drive?

This question was answered on February 6, 2002. Much of the information contained herein may have changed since posting.


First Right click on "My Computer" from your desktop, go down to "properties" Click on device manager, and then double-click CD-ROM Is your CD there?? If it is, then remove it (highlite it, click remove).

Then you will have to reboot your computer Windows should detect it and install the right drivers for it.
